P.T., India - My father J. is suffering from cancer and doctors have predicted that he will live for 2 months. He is only 52 years old and he doesn't have any bad habits. His life has been of simple and honest living. Taking care of his family and parents in their old age. But due to his honesty and truthfulness, people in his office have a grievance against him. This year in January 2003, cancer was detected in his right kidney and it was removed, but unfortunately cancer has started to spread to the other parts, right now he is bed-ridden. This cancer just appeared without any symptoms and even the doctors were baffled. Certain people held celebrations on hearing this news but in the front shed crocodile tears. My mother and I believe that the Lord God, who raised Lazarus from the dead after 3 days, will hear our prayers and heal him completely and help him lead a healthy life. We ask your help in praying for my father and his speedy recovery, even if the Lord God grants him a new lease of life we would be happy. Not for personal reasons only but to show people in this predominantly non-Christian community that our Lord JESUS is the true and living God. Also put to shame people who were plotting his downfall. Kindly pray for my family and surely the Lord God will grant my father a healthy life for a few more years and also make him a standing witness to his power and healing, putting to shame the advancements in medical science and proving that his power is beyond anything else. S.A. - My name is S. and I am 22 years old. I have just split up with my girlfriend of almost 3 years, we were going to get married. J.J.K., Indiana - I have strong feelings for a girl in my Sunday school and felt she had the same feelings for me until a new guy showed up in class. She seems to not really enjoy me as a friend or a person anymore and its really hurting. I hate when I open my heart to a girl and think its safe only to find out I am wrong once again and end up stuck with feelings for someone who seems to lost intrest in me. I have to go to Brazil with her for a week and am afraid I won't be very good to work for the Lord cause I hurt and am in so much pain when I see her or around her. My prayer request is that I am able to be healed of my anger hurt and resentment. I want Peace and joy. Not emotional feelings for someone who I thought was interested in me but it seems more that I am just another member of her boy fan club.
C.R., New Mexico - My 16 yr old daughter is 22 weeks pregnant. She and her boyfriend had a wonderful relationship until a jealous girl began some ugly tactic to cause them to break up. Because of this my daughter has not been able to trust her boyfriend, she has become very depressed and distraught. The doctor has put her on an anti-depressant because of her inability to concentrate to cope each day without her boyfriend. She dearly misses him. He can't be in the relationship he says because she cannot trust him. He says he loves her very much, but without the trust it is hard for him. They need prayer for reconciliation and that they will once again have the joy they had. They need forgiveness for one another. They have tried, but it always ends up in arguments. We can see the hurt they have in their eyes and can hear it in their voices, but they are so hurt by the tactics that have been used against them. Intercede to the Lord for their healing. They have wanted nothing but to make this time in their life to be good for the baby. Most important, they need the Lord stronger in their lives.
E.F., Canada - I am under alot of stress both at work and at home. My daughter is going thru adolescence problems and screams alot (ADHD). I feel I should change jobs but I really don't know what I want to do. I have prayed about this but so far I haven't seen anyway around or out of it.

A.A., Minnesota - I am in the final days of my freshman year in college. I have spent an awful and painful year in a tiny dorm room with an unbearable roommate. I get minimal hours of sleep due to his late nights of TV and computer usage. His hygeine is disgusting and the smell is nauseating. He has talked behind my back and excluded me from social gatherings. I try to talk to him, but nothing ever worked. As I find myself getting closer to finishing the year and moving back home, I am becoming more stressed and openly angry towards others. The stress is eating me away and I just want to be done. On top of all this I have final tests coming up and need to study. The stress never ends. Please pray for a quick end to this school year. The Lord is my strength and my stronghold. I just got home from a church Bible study with some friends and realized that I'm missing something very important in my life - God. I'm almost 15 years old and I have done drugs, smoked, and had sex numerous times. I don't like the girl I'm becoming. It's just not me. And through all that, I have come to realize that my emotional health isn't all that good. I want so much more for myself but I limited everything to a temporary acceptance and temporary love. I realize I was wrong for that. I don't need to waist my time for a momentary fix to my problems. I want out. I want to devote myself to Christ and be a better person and show people through my actions that I'm not the girl everyone thinks I am. I've gone through a lot this year... dealing with self acceptance, whether or not to break my promises to myself, breaking my morals/standards, not living out my dreams, disappointed the people that love me... etc. I have commited so much sin. I want to be a better person for the betterment of me as well as others. I feel like I can be a better daughter, a better friend, a better ANYTHING through God. I pray that I can somehow find that step up from this low life I have chosen for myself. I want to get out of this hole and climb the ladder that leads to the Lord.

As time passed we have been faced with many obstacles, eventually they were triumphed but barely. But as a result, my heart became more harder (I didn't want to get hurt) and that made things worse, along with many problems with my husband. Now my daughter is 1 and my husband has left us. I know that GOD brought us together for a special purpose, to be man and wife and that's why I am seeking for prayer, in hope that GOD will hear it and bring us back. Through hardwork and GOD we will become a happy family again. It hurts me inside to see my daughter and her come to me saying, Daddy? and I having to reply, No honey, Mommy, just Mommy. It just kills me. I am deeply and truly sorry for my actions and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make things better. I have been keeping all my emotions inside, but I am growing weaker, and any day now I am sure I will break down. In fact, just the other night I was seriously thinking of suicide, but as I glanced at my daughter, I thought NO that's not the way. So here I am, with tears in my eyes, asking for your help, and prayer. GOD please bring back the love the 3 of us had filled the house with. M. needs her mother and her FATHER.
J.J., Georgia - My nephew D.T. in Illinois needs your healing prayers. D. is a 7th grader and was on a Boy Scout sledding trip when he smashed head-on into a tree. He has mutiple facial wounds and head injuries - broken cheek and nose, broken jaw bones and a broken eye socket. One eye had to be put back in the socket, his lips reattached and his tongue stitched. His skull is cracked and the plates separated, and he has two blood clots with the potential for meningitis. Please pray for to God to heal and save his life, and also pray for his parents and family.
G.M., Florida - Please pray for my daughter - she is 21 years old and a heroin addict - she is in rehab right now for the first time and I am praying that she does not relapse. I suspect she has already overdosed once. Please pray for her. Her name is Nicole. She attended church and was active in a church youth group and was baptized when she was very young.
C.M., Arkansas - I have a friend that is addicted to drugs and a few nights ago he O.D.'d and I think he is back on drugs. Please pray his family will stand srtong for him and GOD will help his weakness to drugs. Also my friends brother has cancer and is ready to go. They are Christians who were brought together in church activities, but who departed each other by lack of confidence, immaturity and selfishness. Pray for a miracle in renewing their feelings and need for each other and the ability to communicate those feelings. C.M., New Jersey - I recently thought I had been exposed to the HIV virus. This made me really scared and upset. I took an HIV test a couple of days ago and I have to take another one in 6 months. I prayed to the Lord to forgive me of my sins, and for me not to have HIV. I have faith in the Lord to answer my prayers and would like you to pray for me also. I ask you to pray that both HIV tests come back negative.
J.S., Canada - I stopped believing in God when I was 10. I am now one month away from turning 18 and I am finding that I want to believe in Him so badly that it hurts. I stopped believing because I couldn't understand why God would let my uncle sexually abuse me. I'm starting to see now that maybe it was so I could tell someone and make sure he didn't do it to anyone else. God knows I'm strong. I don't know how to start making a new relationship with God, but I will try and I ask that you pray for me.
D.C., Texas - I was raised in an Atheist family where religion was ridiculed, but I have decided to accept it in my life. Only, I don't really know how to pray. I've tried and I don't know if I'm doing it right. Also, I am very stressed over college and I want to make A's, but right now it seems hopeless. I believe I have met my true soulmate and he is a Christian. I hope he is indeed the right one. I love him with all my heart. I just want to be happy.
N.W., Florida - I am 18 years old, saved, and believe in Jesus Christ. The devil knows that I am trying my hardest to live for God and he is trying his best to destroy me. I know that God has a perfect plan for me and Satan can't stand that, so he is trying to attack my mind, and my body. My dad cheated on my mom and we're all having a hard time to forgive him, especially me because I'm the more emotional one. F.B., California - Pray for my nephew who started walking in the world, partying, taking drugs and alcohol, and using girls when he turned eighteen. Just recently he started writing checks against my account, which means I will have to take him to court, which is a very hard thing to do. It is out of my hands and it makes me feel bad. His mom is having a hard time dealing with his behavior. She home schooled him and raised him accountable to God. So please pray for him and his family.
