Who is Jesus? Flash presentation

Jesus Christ. Some say He was just a great teacher or prophet. Others say He was a good man that done good things. Some claim that He was a liar or a lunatic. And down through the ages, millions have worshiped Him as their risen Lord and Savior. Whatever you think of Him, I'm sure you would agree that He stands alone at the center of human history.

Tell Me His Name Again

They tell me of love's sweet old story
They tell me of a wonderful name
It thrills my soul with it's glory
It burns in my heart like a flame
They say He's the one that so loved me
That in Heaven He could not remain
He came down to seek and to save me
Oh tell me His name again

Chorus

Oh tell me His name again
And sing me the sweet refrain
Of Him who in love, came down from above
To die on the cross in shame.

This story my heart has been stirred,
The sweetest I've ever heard,
It banishes fear, it brings hope and cheer,
Oh tell me His name again!

- George Bennard

The resurrection of Jesus is what separates Christianity from other religions around the world. In fact, the validity of the Bible and Jesus' teachings hinges on this one central fact. If there was no resurrection, then Jesus was just another man, and we have no real hope after the grave. But if it is true, then Jesus was not a liar, His claims are true, and we must accept Him as Lord, and receive His free gift of mercy and forgiveness.

C.S. Lewis, in his book, Mere Christianity, states, "A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic - on the level with a man who says he is a poached egg - or he would be the devil of hell. You must make your choice. Either this was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us."

While Jesus was a great teacher, His seemingly outrageous claims and statements eliminate the option of considering Him only as a good teacher. He must be Lord, or a lunatic. Read carefully these pages about His life and ministry. There is no middle ground with Christ. You can laugh at Him, ridicule Him, hate Him... but one thing you cannot do is ignore Him.

After meeting Jesus, a decision must be made. Is He the Son of God? Or was He a liar? To not accept Him, is to reject Him. Your life on earth and for all of eternity will be affected by your decision today.
