Forever

    Often Jesus said things that give us reason to stop and think. This story is a good example. On a previous page we loked at the term, forever, and found that it does not mean "without end" in passages like the description in Revelation 14:11. This story of the two opposite characters seems to question the idea that the dead really die. Luke recorded this and other stories in his account of the gospel lu1619.
